The Orange Shirt
$34.00
This is an orange t-shirt made in partnership with the Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS) of B.C. in time for Orange Shirt Day, on September 30th. Making this shirt was a team effort: we are donating the pattern development, fabric, production management, and packing and shipping materials and logistics, our photographer is donating the images, and one of our long-standing manufacturing partners is producing these t-shirts at cost. All proceeds minus the cost of the factory workers cutting, sewing, and screen printing the t-shirt (with no mark-up) will be donated to the IRSSS, an organization providing essential services to residential school survivors and their families. We hope this t-shirt will spark conversations within your families and communities on the history of residential schools and the ongoing process of reconciliation.
This is a unisex classic crew neck tee made with a soft lightweight organic jersey with a rib neck trim.
